Happy Tuesday friends! I hope you all had a great weekend. Today I’m sharing a look that I meant to share in December (you may notice some Christmas decorations in the back of these photos) but I think it works even better for January! We’ve had some crazy weather here in Atlanta. Two weekends ago it was 11 degrees and everything was covered in a layer of ice. Last weekend, it was 70 degrees and I wore a short-sleeved shirt to the grocery store! Go home Atlanta, you’re drunk.
When the weather is like this, I reach for transitional pieces like this dress. I love this turtleneck dress because it follows my 2/3 rule. It’s so comfortable and the exact type of thing I like to wear on Saturdays whether I’m meeting friends for lunch, running errands with T, or on a shopping date with my mom. I paired the dress with booties but I’ve also worn it with boots and flats depending on the weather. For you southern girls, it’s the perfect transitional dress to wear during these weird months until spring when the weather can’t decide what season it is. For you northern girls, it’s the perfect dress to wear with leggings or tights when you want to look more put together but still want to be warm!
I got this Tory Burch cross body bag for Christmas one year in college and it’s one of my favorite bags. I love how it allows me to be hands free but also has enough space to hold my phone, my keys, and makeup. I need to get a new one, but I can’t seem to part with it! Do you have any bags you feel this way about?
