Thank you to Aeropostale and IHC for sponsoring this post.
My first experience with Aeropostale was in middle school and high school while I was still trying to define my personal style. Up until then, I only shopped at Limited Too (anyone else?) and my closet contained skorts, rhinestoned camisoles, and roll on body glitter.
During the summer before my first year of middle school, I decided that I needed to update my wardrobe to more mature and grown up clothing. Aeropostale was my go to. I loved their ripped jeans, their henleys and their graphic tees. I continued shopping at Aeropostale through high school but slowed down when I went to college and there wasn’t an Aeropostale in my small college town.
When IHC invited me to their event with Aeropostale, I couldn’t say yes fast enough! When I went in to get an outfit for the event, I realized that Aeropostale had grown up just like I did. I immediately started trying on their corduroy skinny jeans, their long open front cardigans, their puffer jackets, and their velvet tops! They had all the trends I had been loving for fall and winter!
I settled on a pair of high waisted jeggings (they fit perfectly and are SO comfortable), a velvet cami and a long cardigan. The outfit felt completely me and I was so happy to find such amazing pieces at a store so close to my heart!
I had a blast at the event getting my nails done with Swarovski crystals, stocking up on sweets from the candy bar, listening to the DJ, catching up with blogger friends, and of course shopping! I loved seeing how Aeropostale had changed and evolved with all of the trends in the past decade and can’t wait to continue shopping there for many years to come! They are also having an amazing pre-black Friday sale right now with major discounts (up to 70%) off so be sure to check it out!
